Where is the serial number on my iPhone 5s?

Im needing some input on my Iphone 5s

Iam trying to activate my new Iphone 5s, but Im unable to find the Serial Number or any other info. off the phone

Hit settings > general > about > and there you have it. (Mine is in Norwegian so it might be named something else though)

Not quite sure why you would need the Serial # to activate the phone. As noted above or on the back of the box the phone came in.
