Where have my iTunes playlists gone since latest IOS update stole them

All my previously chosen playlists have completely disappeared since latest IOS update was installed. Can someone recommend something other than iTunes I can use to store and play my chosen playlists on iPhone X and Mac Air 2020. I've had iTunes steal my music for the last time. I hate iTunes

They're still there. Try signing out of iCloud, then sign back in. Might also try signing out of iTunes, then back in.
