Where has my photostream gone?

My iphone became became waterlogged yesterday, as the phone died my photostream on my ipad disappeared and now I cannot access any of the pictures that were in the stream visible on my ipad that morning. Should I still be able to access the photostream file?

If those photos were synced with iCloud prior to being 'waterlogged' then yes, you should be able to see those photos on your iPad's Photostream. Make sure the iPad is connected to Wi-Fi.
