Where do I find my address book on my iPad?

I can't open my contacts app and can not locate my address book. Where are they found?

They are in the Contacts app.

Why can't you open that app? Have you tried accessing it from the Phone app?

Do you have them synced with iCloud? If so, have you tried accessing them from a computer via iCloud.com?

Are they synced with another service such as GMail?
