Where did my voicemail transcript go? How can I get it back?

Voicemail has been working fine on my last few iphones without any set-up (just using basic restore from backup). Just got the XS, and while I can call my voicemail to hear the messages, the transcript of voicemail calls is gone. The VM screen is literally blank save for a "Call Voicemail" button in the center of the display.
Why did the display go away, and how do I get it back? I did not change carriers or service.

Hello,

I have an issue with the End Call button - it does not appear at the end of the call. Sometimes, the Voicemail crashes the screen if I try to play the message... Tried to reboot - doesn't work..
Looked at the Iphone voice mail screen solution.
