Where are the headsets with remote control and mic?

I was hoping that by now we would see a plethora of wired headsets with remote control and microphone, like Apple sells.

I don't like Apple's headset because
a) too expensive (understandable. They have a monopoly on this type of headsets)
b) hate earbuds (they don't stay on. I prefer over the ear loops)
c) not waterproof (I have gone through numerous headsets destroyed by my copious sweat, including the Apple product)

Ideally, something like the Sennheiser OMX80 with remote control/mic would be great for outdoor use. You can wash them under a tap!

Anyhow, it's all about choices. And I wish we had some when it comes to the availability of remote control+mic on headsets that work with the 3Gs.

We do have a headset with a mic & remote, but it's not waterproof. Our Retractable Isolator Headset blocks out noise, has a mic for answering calls, and a remote to adjust volume, play/pause/skip, and answer calls. The SKU is H3ERNIPH-BKG. Hope that helps!
