When can I pick one up in store?

I know online sales begin on March 24th, but when can I pick one up in store? Same day?

"iPad is available to order beginning Friday, March 24, from apple.com and starts delivering to customers and arriving next week in Apple Stores, through select carriers and Apple Authorized Resellers (prices may vary) in the US and more than 20 countries and regions, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. Denmark, India, Mexico, Norway, Russia, Turkey and other countries and regions will follow in April. Brazil, Taiwan and other countries and regions will follow in May."

I was able to pick one on the 29th though it should be widely available by now

From what I saw, Apple stores (at least in the US) started selling the iPad on Thursday, March 30; Best Buy appeared to get them in (at least the WiFi version) on Friday the 31st.
