Stock player. It works so I use it. I only use alternative players if the stock is lacking. On iOS the stock apps seems to be adequate.

Stock works fine for me but all of my media has been converted and organized in iTunes

Since I have converted to android for phones I tend to use google play music app on my iPad since I have google music all access but right now I have spotify for 3 months for $0.99 so I am using spotify quite a lot . For any music I own I use either iTunes for the large library of music that I bought when I had an iPod and iPhone or Google music which I also imported music to as well

I just wish Google would make an iPad app for their music app instead of using the iPhone one

I use stock. Mkv files take up too much space so I convert them to MP4 to be smaller plus then I can add to iTunes.
