What person pays $489 for a watch band?

Seriously! Apple Watch is great. Some bands are more expensive than others. But it is a damned watch band. There is about 5 square inched of leather at best and 1 ounce or less of steel or aluminum in the thing, and it cost $489 because some fart in italy or France put his name on it?
Who the hell pays $1249 for the Hermès version? The case is made of stainless steel instead of alluminum. Big deal.

I am not knocking apple for this. I am all for capitalism. I just think anybody who spends $489 for a piece of leather, and $1249 fir a piece of leather, and steel instead of alluminum, needs to have their head examined.

It’s the same people who spend $3,000 on a purse just because it says Louis Vuitton on it. If you enjoy the fashion statement and you can afford it then to each his or her own. It’s certainly nothing I’m going to get upset about.

I cannot effort that kinda price. Quality bands are so expensive, I am already regreting buying an Apple Watch.

The Apple Pencil works great on the iPad pros. It supposed to be better than the others out there.

I sold mine when I sold the 1st gen 12.9” iPad Pro. I haven’t bought one yet for the 10.5” one. Really don’t have a use for it. Yet.

Why people need to assume that it's only because of vanity and feel the need to vilify anyone and everyone who spends more money than them is beyond me.
