Honestly I don't do that. Since I've got a charger in the car, one at work, and several at home I only think about it when I'm about to get in the Metro. If I see that it's at 20% an hour before I go home I charge it. Otherwise it charges as needed. And my battery life is phenomenal and I'm on this baby ALL the time.
Sometimes at home on weekends I let it drain to shut down.
This is it at this moment.

Yup. Battery is excellent.
The key is also your signal. Bad signal, bad battery life. This is true in any device. I get much better battery life at home on weekends than on the Metro....I can drop 20% on the Metro if I REALLY push web browsing while it's searching for a signal.

Typically, I simply plug it in to charge overnight, but once a week or so I'll turn it completely off to charge overnight. Once a month or so, I'll let it drain to about 2 or 3 percent, turn it off, and then allow it to charge completely.

It really varies day to day. I work in different locations within DC and I'm usually on strong LTE. I have several closed wifi trusted networks that I jump on. And at home I'm on wifi.

On a hard day I go around 16 hrs.

I usually charge mine when it gets down to about 20% or so, then charge it up to about 80%. If I go somewhere, I may top it off to 100%. Once a month I let it run down to 1%, then charge it up to 100% plus another 45 minutes or more. I try to do that at night. If I have less than 60% at bedtime, I'll charge it overnight.

I usually charge ins when it gets around 20%. I put it on the charger every night. About once per month I'll let it completely drain and recharge it.
