What is wrong with my iPhone 4s when it suddenly shutdown & when i tried to turn it on it wont?

Someone called me & when i try to answer the call it suddenly hangs-up the screen. I touch the home button in order to get to home screen but suddenly my iPhone 4'S went off & when i try to turn it on, it wont. I thought my battery just drain & got have no power so when i arrived at home i charge my phone. After 30 minutes of charging i try to turn it on but still it wont. What possibly wrong to my iPhone 4's?
