What is the different between Apple music and Itunes music?

I've purchased and listened to Itunes music since 2012. Recently, i found a new way to listen to music called Apple music.
In the beginning, I though Apple music was like Itunes music but I was wrong. The quality of Apple music is different from my Itunes music. It was like a re-master version of the original one.
Can someone explain for me?
