i don't think there is such a thing for iPhone. honestly, the best gmail app is the native mail app. you can set it up as an exchange account to have push.

jailbreaking allows you to have apps that will add more functionality and tones but if that isn't a route you're willing to take, then no, there isn't anything as of now that'll do what you're asking.
