I don't have a problem with iMessage Spam, but I do get spam calls periodically from people trying to sell security alarms, even though I already have one...

Haha. Just reminded me the other day I got a call about a virus on my computer from "Microsoft". Told the guy I've never even owned a Windows computer, and he mumbled something and hung up.

I only get them from "phone numbers", since I did not activate my email for iMessages.

Not having activated your mail for iMessages doesn't change the fact that people still can send you iMessages from email addresses.
