What is causing my stupid blue double status bar when playing iPod?

I'm hoping someone can help me get rid of an annoying pulsating blue status bar when playing my iPod on my 3G. I have Music Controls installed and did have MyWi. I was thinking MyWi was the cause since it looks like the tethering display, but removal did not solve. Any ideas on what is causing this and how to get rid of it? It is driving me crazy! I would post a pic but this forum will not allow photos until I reach 10 posts.

Is it the top status bar that has a pulsating blue area? That is indicative of internet tethering...

Could be music controls. Been awhile since i had that (iOS 4.0 kind of made it unneeded for me).

Anyways, remove programs til its gone. If that doesn't work restore, then re-jb.
