What form factor might wow you in regard to a smartphone?

I’ve read where some people have mentioned they are bored with the form factor of the iPhone. I find the comment interesting because after viewing a list of the top rated smartphones, I discovered that they all have the same form factor - vertical rectangular design. Some even have a variance of Apple’s notch. The placement of the back camera lens varies, but the overall form factor is the same as the iPhone.

With that being said, are those same people tired of the form factor of the Pixel, Galaxy, One Plus, etcetera, too?

Lol, for me its a smartphone, outside of what size is preferred. It form fits in my hand, I'm able text, talk, take photo's,Email, and internet. I'm good.

I like the iPhone 8 size. I have the X and it’s as big as I would want one. I’d like a smartphone the size of the 8 or X with square edges. It would make it easier to hold.

I am happy with my iPhone 7+. I don't like the fact that later models don't have either the home button or fingerprint recognition.

My favorites have been 4, 6 and XS. I didn’t like the 5 at all form factor wise. Honestly I don’t care a whole lot as long as they work as intended. I *like* when they come out with a new sleek design but I don’t get upset if it doesn’t happen like some seem to.

I'm very happy with 8+... Size & feel & wireless charging work, I never have used Face ID, nor done without the familiar home button so I'm not going to venture opinions there. However, I have to add that the feel of timeless quality and techno-mechanical soundness & build perfection was undoubtedly best in my 4S.. but my ageing eyes can't handle the smaller screen sizes any more.

My wife is the same. She was happy with her 7+ and it wasn’t until a friend sold me their 8+ for $150 that she even wanted to switch. She loves wireless charging though.

I like the Form Factor and I’m guessing as cellphones evolved from the many flip phone designs and there were many the current brick style is the most efficient for the tech that’s inside it

I’m good with a rectangle with a screen on the front. There’s probably a good reason basically every smartphone is shaped like that.

I wouldn’t want any crazy shaped phone. I’m good with a rectangular shape. I love my 8+ but would love a size in between an 8 and an 8 Plus. As long as it can fit in a pocket, I’m good!

Silver iPhone XS Max is ideal. I love the glossy glass back and stainless steel sides with the black front. The only thing I would change would be no notch. Not a fan of the matte frosted glass on the new iPhones

Yes. The stainless and that shade always looks nice.

I’m happy with the 5.8” screen, but I wish they made a pro in 6.1”. The 6.5” is too big for my liking. Other than that I’m happy with the form factor, not sure what could be changed. The only thing that might be nice to add is an edge to edge display.
