What does everyone use their Watch for?

i’m getting my first Apple Watch delivered today. I got the series 5 $100 off 40 MM of Amazon. I just wondered what does everyone use the Watch’s for.

what are 2FA codes

Two-Factor Authentication. Some people use the Google Authenticator app for this purpose, but I use the 1Password app for it. In other words, when I login to certain sites or apps that require 2FA, I can simply select the 1Password app on my Watch and then scroll down to view the necessary code for the site or app I’m logging in to.

I use my watch for:

• Exercice Tracking
• Notifications
• Occasional calls (when I'm too lazy to use my phone or computer)
• Apple Pay
• Timers
• Weather (when I remember it works)
• Turn-by-turn directions when driving/walking

• What time is it
• Track exercise, and, to a lesser extent, activity
• Notification triage. If something important comes in, I usually act on them from my phone, but I can see what it is on my watch.
• Track sleep (AutoSleep)
• Get weather info (from complications - it's rare when I open the app)
• Start podcasts playing when I start exercising (my phone is tucked away so it's easier to access on my watch.)
• Since mask-wearing started, Apple Pay
• Timers, especially while cooking, but sometimes for other things (when to leave to pick up food orders for example). They are almost always set by Siri.

I do have a 2FA app on the watch, but I never use it - I always use my phone for that

Nope, you're stuck with what Apple gives you. As far as fully functional options. There is another service I've seen people use to change things up a bit, though without being Apple approved and having access to complications, I have never tried it. Seems to much like a glorified wallpaper than a watch face to me.

This list is pretty much the same as mine. When I'm traveling (fond memories!), I sometimes use the watch for turn by turn directions while walking.

Fitness tracking and the convenience of keeping my phone on vibrate so I’m not hearing a concert all day. It gives me anxiety.

My reason for purchasing a watch was for the heart aspect it provides me I like that I don’t have to bring my phone with me everywhere also.
