What does Apple want the Iphone to be?

I'm not sure I see any direction in regards to the platform.

A handheld computer would be able to multi task so no it is still an overpriced feature phone.

eh, i think the term smartphone has seen its time come and go. smartphone was good when you were talking about the old palms, and the original blackberrys. back then, yes, they were substantially "smarter" than the average flip phone. today though, i would liken them more to entertainment phones. e

Yeah, I have a feeling they will add multitasking to the 3G S with a software update though.
