What Do You Use At Home - A MAC Desktop/Laptop Or A PC?

I have a Lenovo Windows 10 laptop with 16gb RAM, 256gb SSD, HD touchscreen.

2nd machine is a Acer 14 Chromebook with Android Apps Compatibility. Use this for watching videos, movies, light photo editing etc

What is your choice of computer at home just like the title - What is your preference and why?

I personally use a Windows PC Running Windows 7 Professional and am sure one day I might change to MAC.

That PC can be virtualized and moved to a Mac if still running a or some Windows programs is an issue.

The answer to your question is using a few systems. My job makes me a power user with more than one system, then we have wife and 3 kids.

A 5k 27” iMac is replacing some older systems. A 12” MacBook has been a super tool of mine for more than a year now.

I use a some VMware virtual machine Windows systems with the Macs.
