What About The New Shift Key In iOS 7.1.?

What do you all think how Apple changed the shift key on the keyboard in 7.1? I personally don't mind or care as I use it like I normally do and it does not affect me at all.

Its counter-intuitive for me. I preferred the blue arrow in 7.0.x - but I appreciate 'bland is grand' in Ive's view of the iOS.

That said, would it kill Apple - regardless of how the Shift key appears - to actually shift the look of the font on the keys from Lower to Upper case as activated? Dare I say it, like Google Android's keyboard?
I mean, its not as if we're using touch-type on virtual keyboards, so any obvious visual cue is helpful.

Initially, it confused me, but that only lasted a few minutes. I don't have a problem with it at all now. The black arrow means capitalized. It's as simple as that....:)
