Apple officially stopped selling the iPhone X but if you purchase one from eBay, Amazon, etc. will it still be supported and for how long? Even after warranty? 1, 2, 3 years? I know specific models drop off each year. What about the X?

It’ll get supported just like any other Apple iPhone. You should get at least 5 years of iOS updates.
