a lot of 1G owners just got hosed - that's for sure. Personally, I'll dump my Curve 8310 for $50 and grab the $299 16GB model in a heartbeat. If given a choice between old EDGE 8GB (used) for $129 and new 3G 8 MB for $199? Puh-lease - they old stuff won't be worth that much IMHO.
