After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
Will be installing after iOS.

BEWARE: Your iPhone MUST be on iOS13 in order to install WatchOS 6 -> I tried to do the install before iOS 13 and it ended up resetting my Series 4 and saying I needed to update my iPhone before pairing

So how did you reset it back to watchOS 5?
I don’t get it..if you won’t run a beta on your phone, why put it on your watch
I’m not in a rush to upgrade my Watch, but I do have to pair it again to my iPhone X now that it’s been upgraded to iOS 13.
Weird. I didn’t have to.
Did you restore from a backup after installing iOS 13?
I think I only had to restore because I tried updating while still on iOS 12.4; so the watch updated, but it forced it to unpair until I updated my phone. Everything is running normal now though.
Although, does anyone know how to remove the cycles app if you’re a guy? Haha
One odd issue though is with the infograph watch face. When choosing black or white, everything looks great, but choosing any other color causes the complications to gray out.

I never restore for updates. I hit update so I don’t have start over loading back ups and stuff.
I don't understand why only a few do this. It works just fine.
