Watch questions

To those that have their watch how does the watch work in vehicle equipped with Bluetooth? If I'm running errands I usually listen to music/podcast with my phone via Bluetooth. Does the watch disconnect from the phone automatically? So the Bluetooth stereo picks it up. Or can the iPhone have two simultaneous Bluetooth connection and everything works as it should?

The iPhone can have multiple connections. When I'm in my car, my iPhone 6 is connected to my car, my Microsoft Band and a Bluetooth Radar Detector. For the most part, everything works fine.
