Want to Clean Install High Sierra. How do I get rid of OSX Base Recovery Partition?

I

iMore Question

I saw your guide, and others sites guides on how to Clean Install High Sierra.
However, in all the pictures I have seen it just shows one drive to pick when installing "Mackintosh" I have that, but I also have a recovery partition showing too.

When I go into Disk Utilities it wont let me un-mount the drive so I cant delete it. I have already deleted the Macintosh drive (main drive).

This is on a 2015 12 inch MacBook.

Thanks for any help.

Don't unmount or delete the recovery partition. That will be critical if you ever have to restore your device as new using built in recovery tools.
