Number one gripe is not being able simply to forward a message. Soooo irritating.

Two is the awful bossiness of iTunes. I want more control over what, how and when I sync. Heaven help you if you don't want the same contacts on your phone and on your PC, and goodness isn't it difficult to get them the same. I can't find a way to replace all contacts on iPhone with contacts on my PC because that option doesn't appear in iTunes - ever. Why do all the manuals and discussion forums tell you you can do certain things in iTunes that you can't - (at least not after days of researching and trying) via certain menus that apparently don't actually exist. It's driving me crazy.

Three, why do all my photos rotate so that when they come back onto my phone they are all sideways!! How dumb is that. I don't want a sideways picture of my son when I'm ringing him. Am I missing something very simple?

I could go on. It's certainly not nearly as easy as I'd been led to believe. iTunes and the iPhone manual have an aura of 'Newspeak' about them - simple because the nformation is just plain not there.

1. I never forward messages, but I do find it strange that it's not possible.

2. What are you talking about? Example?
I believe if you create contact groups, you can select specific groups in iTunes to sync with.
Even before my MobileMe days I did not find it difficult to keep my contacts the same on computer and iPhone... it's rather simple...

3. I've never had this issue. My guess is that your computer automatically flips photos for viewing (I know iPhoto does this) even if the actual file is sideways. I would double check your files.

I think a next software update is the biggest fail. 3.0 or whatever but the bigggest dissapointment in all with the iPhone, above all others, is no multi-tasking. :( As another said up above, MMS, copy/paste, Stereo Bluetooth isn't at all neccesary. But seeing as the iPhone calls itself a PDA, it should support this feature. [sigh] I just don't understand Apple.

This lack might actually push me to buy an unlocked Pre. Since, with all denial aside the Pre is just better than the current iPhone model. Maybe next iphone model I'm sure. And dont take this lightly because I'm on my iphone 24/7 and it's the best piece of technology I've ever held but certain lacks ARE.JUST.UNBEARBLE!!!

cut/copy ... I have seen some great examples out there of how it could work. Are they saving it for the next big feature? ... surely its something that should have been there from day one... Maybe its not that simple!?
