Voice quality in Chicago's far western suburbs?

I'm thinking of making the switch to AT&T. We live in the Fox Valley area, in a somewhat rural part.

Does anyone have input on signal quality?

I hate to give up T-mobile because of the unlimited data, but their coverage area is poor at best in rural areas.
