Voice Mail

Iphone 3Gs, on OS6 system.
I have reset the Network Settings, as suggested, to bring back "Voice Mail" notification. Hasn't done the job.
What next?

Tap on the voicemail icon to call your voicemail. Listen to a message, if applicable. When you're done, a notification *should* appear a few seconds later.

Contact your carrier's tech support - could be they need to reset your account in their voicemail systems.

It could actually be a combination of both of the advice given.
