Visible Passwords

Hello. I have a Verizon iPhone with 4.2.8. I just restored my phone and rejailbroke it. While I was setting it up, I noticed something I didn't like . . .

As I was setting up my various apps by logging in with username and password, I noticed my passwords would become visible upon submitting the credentials.

So, I would enter my password and would see ********. Once I hit submit, the ******** changed to the viable password. Maybe this has always happened and I never noticed.

Any ideas?

A lot of apps have an option to "see" the password after it has been entered or while you are typing it. It could have something to do with your jailbreak as well. I would dig around in the apps and see if there is an option to check or uncheck viewing your passwords. If not there, maybe some of the jailbroken iphone users could chime in and see if they had anything similar happen to them.
