Very poor picture quality on 6s

Ordered the 64gb iPhone 6s on the USA website. My friend then brought it here. Am using it since over a month & am not just disappointed but furious at the horrible picture quality especially in low light. Clicked the same shot from my old Samsung Galaxy S4 and my iPhone; & the former gives way better results even without night mode. Could this be a hardware issue? Warranty isn't valid in India so I'll have to send it back to USA. Don't know how to go about this...

If it's a warranty issue then you should be able to return it or get it exchanged. If not, you're stuck.
