I use the Kenu Airframe which works pretty well for my 6s. It's one of the air vent ones.

I use an iOttie vent mount. I tried windshield mount but the depth of my windshield made it nearly impossible to reach my phone. My vent mount has worked wonderfully.

I have a Osomount U grip. Its awesome.

Okay so now I got the Mpow Grip Pro 2 that fits in my CD tray because it's on sale for like $14 on Amazon and wow, it's pretty great. There's complete tilt and swivel and you don't have to attach anything like a mount to your car.

I tried mounting my iOttie 2 to my dash and it wouldn't stay put to save my life. I think it was the texture of my dash.
Returned it for an air vent mount. Problem solved!
