Anyone know if there is an app available sim. to verizon's song id. had on my previous devices and was a useful app. thanks

Which I think is ridiculous. That is one piece of Verizon software that wasn't shovelware...quite possibly the only piece.

Soundhound is like Shazam but it's free.

+1. Soundhound is amazing. I use it all the time. It will let you bookmark songs, it's fast and actually does a much better job than VCast song ID.

I will get on the Soundhound bandwagon. It is great and very accurate plus it is FREE and you can use it as much as you want.

Wow, just tried it out, the best!! You can sing and it recognizes the song even with my horrible voice. You can ask for a song or artist, it pulls it up, the videos on youtube, lyrics, etc.

How cool!
