Using iTunes to download Picasa files to iPhone

I store my photos in folders in Picasa. I use iTunes to transfer those folders to my iPhone. Everything works perfectly except that when the folders are displayed on my iPhone, the photos within each folder are in a different order. It is as if they are being sorted on a different bassis within the phone - JPEG number perhaps?
Is there any way I can download these folders to my iPhone and keep the pictures in the original order?
