Using iPhoDroid

Hi, everyone!

I'm writing in regard to the ability to dual-boot the Android OS and iPhone OS with the iPhoDroid program. I noticed that it only worked on the iPhone 3G, which I have, and that it be jailbroken with redsn0w.

I have already jailbroken the device with jailbreakme.com, so I need to restore it back to 4.0. I downloaded FW 4.0 and attempted to restore it, however iTunes (10) will not authorize the restore/update to continue. I'm having a tough time trying to figure out how I may circumvent this error in order to re-jailbreak my iPhone.

If you have any solutions to offer, I'd appreciate it.

The 3G has "soft" shsh blobs starting with 4.0. If you don't have your shsh blobs saved on iTunes or through tiny umbrella then you cannot restore to 4.0
