Using hotmail on iPhone 3G email application

I currently use hotmail on my iPhone 3G email application among some other providers. I have several personal folders in hotmail that I have used to archive emails and was wondering how I can get these folders to appear on my iPhone.

At this time, I only see my Inbox and Sent Items.

I was told you can't even get hotmail on the iphone. Does not matter to me since I use AOL.

Hotmail on iphone

If you're using pop3.live.com to get your email, then you will only see three folders. Inbox, Sent and Trash. POP account doesnt allow you to see other folders.

Now, if you're a pay member of hotmail, then IMAP will get you all your folders, the bad part of this is, that its very slow.

I have an free email account and POP is working find on the iphone.

i just tried again for hotmail via the iphone mail app and still the same anwser. so you must have membership, to access pop mail. I just put hotmail on web shortcut on my home page. same thing, just no notifications which is fine by me.
