Using an alias as default

Does anyone know how to use an iCloud email alias as the default sending account on an iPhone? I can get it to come up in the 'From' menu but it'd be nice if it was automatically selected

I haven't been able to do this, either. It wasn't possible with MobileMe; I don't think that's changed with iCloud, but I could be wrong (and would be happy if I was).

You're not wrong - using an alias is not possible in iOS 5 (yet?).
