I'm dumping my 2010 MBP for a 2017 MBP. My 2010 has USB ports on the side for my external HD, and a 4 port USB data hub. Will they all plug into the 2017, or will i need an adapter? Maybe something like USB male to USB-C female or USB male to Lightning female? Thanks for any help.

You will need an adapter or cable from USB type C male to USB type A female.

You can also use a native cable for your devices, such as a USB type C to USB type B cable.
