Upgrade Full Retail

I got the 16gb 4s on launch day last year on Verizion. I don't have unlimited data anymore on family share. Don't use much data. I have phone in Lifeproof case. How much could I likely sell old phone on Craigslist? Should the 5 be off contract be like $650? If I waited until had upgrade it would be June 2013 then the 5s will be coming out in a few months.

If that 4S is in good mint condition I expect you can fetch $300-$400 for it. Keep in mind as soon as the iPhone 5 is out there will be tons of 4S for sale so it's safe to say prices will come down for that model. And the new iPhone 5 16gb sounds reasonable at $650. Just hang in there tomorrow many of our answer will be answered.

Agreed. The 4S is easy to jailbreak/unlock. Do it and get even more money. But hurry cuz once iPhone 5 drops prices will lower a little

If you unlock it it's more valuable...I've never found a jailbroken phone to bring any legitimate extra value.

I would sell it before the 5 comes out because once it is out there will be a huge increase in the number of 4s's out there and value will drop. Or you can trade it in online and get guaranteed money and some even let you trade in now but not send until the next iphone is out.
