Upgrade Airport extreme 2nd gen to new airport

Should i upgrade my 2nd gen airport extreme to the new one, my current one works fine, i don't have any 802.11ac devices so i have held off so far.

Why upgrade when your current APX is working fine for you? Save your money until and just change the passcode every couple of months......is my recommendation.

I get better speed setting it to 5ghz only for my iPhone 5, but my chromecast is 2.4ghz only, the new one have dual-band. I will probable wait till i get an iPhone 6 when my contact runs out.
