Updated iPad won't work with iTunes

I updated my iPad then discovered new version will not work with my older version of iTunes. Will iCloud restore put me back to the previous version of iPad? I cannot update iTunes with my mac's OS. I don't want to update my mac's OS as some of my older apps will not work.

I guess you want to go back to IOS8? I done a little search and by looks of it Apple won't allow you to downgrade after a short time from the new IOS launch, I put a link in that you might want to read but maybe someone else here who knows more might have a clever solution! Hope you get it sorted mate
