Unlocking 1. gen iphone - Quickpwn 1.1 gets stuck in the last step!

Hello to all!
I am a new member and also new iphone user so I hope you can bear with me...
I am following the manual "How To: Jailbreak iPhone 2.1 - Mac OS X Edition"
I am running this on my Mac.
I have no problems running steps 1 to 7.
However, when it comes to step 8 the quickpwn gets stuck in some kind og loop. I have tried letting it run for 30 min. but it does not stop! I have to kill the Mac in order to restart. I have tried this 4 or 5 times and it keeps getting stuck at step 8...

Any ideas??

Try using Pwnage Tool for Mac.

I tried the Pwnage tool 2.1 for mac, here I also have a problem. It says it can not find the bootloader v3.9 even though I have it on my desktop and brows for it and choose it..

Any other Ideas?
