I have a jailbroken iPhone 5 and I have the unlimtones app from Cydia to save ringtones. The saved ringtones go straight to sounds. My question is, does anyone know what directory they save to on the iPhone?

Thanks in advanced

If you're trying to maintain more control, you could always use iTunes to make your ringtones for free.

You can make your own tones and bring them in easily. If you're having issues, make sure the tones you're downloading are the right filetype and you have "sync tones" checked in iTunes.

If you don't see "make AAC version" it means you have your iTunes setup to rip CDs as mp3. Change that to AAC while building ringtones.

Follow this guy's vid on how to convert them to m4r then you can simply use SSH or iFunBox to place the ringtones in private/var/stash/ringtones .

If you don't see create AAC version use this doc to fix that :-
