Unable to take photo on ipad2

Message states storeage is full so deleted old photos but still won't allow me to take new photos. Screen is black. Settings .says storeage 50gb with 36.5 gb free! Help!

Silly question but did you try rebooting? Otherwise take it to an Apple store would be my next suggestion.

Also, you need to make sure you empty the "Recently Deleted" folder.
