Ugh please help

Recently my Apple TV has started being very slow, nothing has changed with my Internet connection my MacBook best my tv is fine but it seems like Netflix when I click to watch movie it keeps loading than return to home screen I have reset all settings and no luck and when I do airplay it fails to connect

It's possible that the problem lies with your internet provider or via Netflix. An internet search revealed that various people are having trouble accessing Netflix so give it some time.

Seems like now when I try to play a video on Netflix it loads and loads than takes me to my Apple TV with only settings and computer icons than the rest show up

Are you close to an apple store? I had issues with mine before and they just swapped it out, no questions asked. It stinks but sounds like an apple TV issue.

Now it says can't connect to apple server

For the heck of it, try connecting it to your Mac and reload the OS.

I unplugged the power plug behind the Apple TV and re plugged it in and that fixed it :/
