I just downloaded and tried echophone.. deleted it in about 20 seconds.. didn't like the Ads across the the top of the page. Besides, it didn't look a whole lot different than the native Twitter app...

Why don't people just use sms notifications from Twitter's website? You can use your favorite Twitter client without having to worry who's got the fastest push notifications?

Native Twitter app, works perfectly

Had bought Tweetbot, great except I think my battery goes a little faster and Tweetings has failed me

Question, If I was to use another app like Tweetbot and remove my account info on the official twitter app or remove the official twitter app from my phone, will it affect the twitter integration on the iOS5?

Good question; I don't have the answer but if you could certainly give it a try. The worst that would happen is that you'll need to reinstall the official Twitter app.
