IF you mean the slide to upgrade screen: The only work around for the slide to upgrade screen is to put your phone into recovery mode, connect it to iTunes and when prompted, select RESTORE. Do not select update or itll put you through the same loop. However, you'll lose everything if you didn't back up prior to the update.

Or do you mean that while the software was actually downloading in settings, it stopped?
