Trouble with my camera

Whenever i open my camera the screen (camera) appears to be blurred on my iPhone 7 . What might be the problem ?

Does it stay blurred for a long period of time? Mine is blurred for a split second when the camera opens but then it comes into focus.

No, not for that long. Mine lasts about 1/4 second.

If you're running an old 10.2.x beta you should definitely update to the final release. I can't promise it'll fix your problem but it's worth a try. If your issue persists you may want to try resetting all settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

If that doesnt fix it, I would take it to your local Apple Store if you have one. It might be a hardware issue you are looking at too.

I think it is a hardware issue. Mine focuses really fast and is ready for use very quickly.

Mine does this, except black. Seems to be worse depending on how many applications are in background. Possibly a memory management bug? How long mine stays black varies drastically. Sometimes a split second; sometimes a few seconds. *
