I apologize if this question has been addressed before but i could not find any threads on it. I have preordered the iPhone 4. I currently have a 3GS. When i get the 4 do i just connect to iTunes and restore from backup? Will all of the information (including apps) then be on the 4? I do not sync Apps with iTunes because the App list in iTunes shows all the Apps i have ever downloaded even if i have deleted them off the phone. I am concerned that if i sync the Apps it will try to put them all back on my phone. Any help you guys can offer i would greatly appreciate.

Thanks!

In theory you are correct. Just plug in the new iPhone and then it should restore your settings, saved games and such. However it's not always 100% smooth and sometimes fails. Basically, you should be ok but there is a chance it could go wrong, albeit a small chance.
