Touch ID stops working on new iPad Pro 12.9" (2017)

Anyone else having issues with Touch ID on new iPad Pro? It will work for a while and then stop. I have to restart the tablet to get it working again. When it stops, I can't even go into settings and add a new fingerprint.

**update**
I notice also that when this happens, my Apple Pencil disconnects and stops working. Once I plug the Pencil back in, it connects and Touch ID starts working again.

Seems like a bug. Did you restore the iPad Pro to a back up from another iPad or installed it as new?

Try resetting all settings and see if that helps.
