Torn ipad air battery outer skin

Hi i was replasing my battery and i tore the black skin, its only a small tear

Can i use some duct or electrical tape to tape it up and use it

The battery still has 90% health and charges up fine, and lasts about 10 hours when streaming a youtube video

I discharxhed and recharged it three times

I would recommend replacing the damaged battery to be on the safe side. In its present condition, taped or otherwise, it could explode.

Personally, I don’t think it’ll be a problem, but batteries can be volatile so I agree with Mars20 and will recommend you replace the battery.
